1.10 food photography tips: We’ve all done it before. Taken a photo of a delicious meal only to have it turn out looking ugly and not edible. Hopefully these 10 food photography tips will help you take a more tasty-looking food photo next time. http://www.photoble.com/photography-tips-tricks/10-food-photography-tips-to-make-it-look-tasty/

2. Photographing children If you thought photographing models was hard work, then photographing children is probably twice as hard. Nevertheless, photographing kids doesn’t always have to result in tantrums and dramas. Photoble has sussed out the best tips from professional children photographers to bring you this week’s tips and tricks. http://www.photoble.com/photography-tips-tricks/10-tips-on-how-to-photograph-children/

3. Photographing in black and white is sometimes considered to be the purist form of photography because you rely much more heavily on composition and form than with color shots. You must see the gradients from black to white and consider your subject matter without the distraction of hue vibrancy. Here are a few tips for making sure your black and white shots are the best they can be and what pitfalls to avoid. http://www.photoble.com/photography-tips-tricks/tips-for-shooting-in-black-and-white/

4. 5 Steps to Achieve Panning in Photography In photography, panning refers to moving the camera horizontally. With a bit of practice, you can achieve some amazing results. For example, the subject of the photo might be crisp and still, but the background is blurred with motion lines. http://www.photoble.com/photography-tips-tricks/5-steps-to-achieve-panning-in-photography/

5. You don’t need a special macro lens to do macro photography with your SLR. Yes, you’ve read that right. You can actually shoot some pretty interesting close-up photos with the lens you have. When I first saw this trick via Photojojo, I was skeptical as it was so easy and simple. But after giving it a go myself, I was hooked! It involves no additional equipment or money and results will leave you grinning. http://www.photoble.com/photography-tips-tricks/macro-photography-without-the-macro-lens/

Crop Factor: A digital SLR sensor is smaller than a frame of 35mm film, so only a portion of the image that passes through the lens is captured by the sensor.

Autofocus:Autofocus systems can include anywhere from 3 to 9 individual focus points. More important that the number of points is the accuracy of the system.

Continuous Drive: A continuous drive lets you take multiple photos in rapid succession. More expensive cameras have faster continuous drives.

File Formats: RAW and JPG
JPG is the standard format for digital images, and is easy to e-mail, upload and print, but RAW offers significantly more creative freedom.

Aspect Ratio: Wonder why your digital prints never turn out exactly like the image on your computer monitor? The culprit is aspect ratio.

3.Dust controls: Dust that lands on an SLR sensor appears as small black spots in every photo you take. Dust controls systems attempt to prevent and eliminate this.

4.Image Stabilization: There are two types of stabilization: one that’s included inside the camera and one that’s inside the lens. Regardless of the type, stabilization helps to eliminate blur in your photos caused by camera shake.
